Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy)

Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2004, Stacey has worked extensively in private practice treating numerous sporting injuries including those from netball, running, soccer and swimming. She believes in a comprehensive assessment of the individual and their injury to enable them to achieve full recovery and sporting goals.  She treats holistically and employs education, a range of soft tissue techniques, dry needling and exercise prescription. 

Stacey passion lies in women’s health physiotherapy in which she has undergone further training and now sub-specialises. She is experienced in treating pregnancy related concerns, urinary incontinence, bladder and bowel dysfunction, as well as sexual and pelvic pain. She loves helping women return to their pre-pregnancy level of function whether it be in exercise, training, sport or a general sense of well being. 

Stacey is also experienced in helping post menopausal women with prolapse, urinary and bowel incontinence, allowing them to gain control of their lives. She has undertaken specialty training in the fitting of pessaries to treat bladder, uterine and bowel prolapse, enabling women of all ages to return to their life activities and goals, mobility and exercise. 

Stacey currently works at the Mater Hospital on maternity helping post natal women recover from birth and pregnancy. She also teaches pilates classes to improve tone, strength and fitness.

Stacey has a beautiful daughter who keeps her on her toes all day and most nights.
